  • Intelligent clearance sonar detects an object (w/ Intelligent Clearance Sonar System)
  • Electric parking brake is applied

  • A preceding vehicle is not detected when follow-up control is being performed at a vehicle speed of approximately 40 km/h (25 mph) or less

If any of the conditions listed below occurs, the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly cancels control of vehicle speed by the dynamic radar cruise control system (stored vehicle speed is maintained):

  • Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly sensitivity reduced because of bad weather such as rain, fog, snow, or sandstorm
  • Brake control by the dynamic radar cruise control system is temporarily unavailable
  • The beam axis of the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is being aligned
  • The forward recognition camera is temporarily unavailable
  • A system check is being performed after the engine has started

Radar Cruise Control Unavailable

The conditions return to normal (the resume function can be operated after fail-safe is deactivated).
  • Electronically controlled brake system operates while driving with cruise control system controlling vehicle speed
  • TRAC system operates for a certain period of time while driving with cruise control system controlling vehicle speed.
