DESCRIPTION

The millimeter wave radar sensor assembly receives information about the area in front of the vehicle from the forward recognition camera.

If the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly detects a malfunction in the forward recognition camera, it will store DTC C1AA0.

If the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly detects that the beam axis of the forward recognition camera is misaligned, it will store DTC C1AA8.

If forward recognition camera adjustment has not been performed or did not complete normally after the forward recognition camera was replaced with a new one, DTC C1AA9 will be stored.

If the forward recognition camera detects a malfunction in the camera heater (forward recognition hood) circuit, it will output a malfunction signal to the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly via CAN communication and DTC C1AAE will be stored.

While the power switch is on (IG), the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly detects that forward recognition camera adjustment has not been completed for 1 second or more.

When the power switch is on (IG), the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly receives a camera heater (forward recognition hood) circuit malfunction signal from the forward recognition camera continuously for 5 seconds or more.

HINT:

If DTC C1AA0, C1AA8, C1AA9 or C1AAE is output by the pre-collision system, perform troubleshooting for the forward recognition camera system.
