Malfunction in Deceleration Sensor

DESCRIPTION

The airbag sensor assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2).

The skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via CAN communication.

After the difference between GL1 and GL2 is 0.6 G or more with the vehicle stopped, the difference between GL1 and GL2 does not drop below 0.4 G or more for 60 seconds or more.

(a) Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) has been installed properly.
