REASSEMBLY
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH
(a) Engage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the front bumper side retainer LH with the bolt. Torque: 7.0 N·m {71 kgf·cm, 62 in·lbf} |

2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT
(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 8 bolts.
Torque:
43 N·m {438 kgf·cm, 32 ft·lbf}

(b) Engage the 5 clamps. |
|
(c) Install the headlight assembly LH.

(d) Install the headlight assembly RH.
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
(a) Engage the 4 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber as shown in the illustration.

5. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
(a) Engage the 2 guides to install the No. 2 front bumper energy absorber as shown in the illustration.

6. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER
(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the 2 front fender liner retainers as shown in the illustration.

HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE MOULDING LH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)
|
(a) Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws. |
|
|
(b) Install the front bumper side moulding LH with the 2 clips. |
|
8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE MOULDING RH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
9. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Bar Type Radiator Grille)
(a) Engage the 17 claws.

(b) Install the lower radiator grille sub-assembly with the 4 screws. |
|
10. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)
(a) except TRD:
(1) Engage the 6 guides and 24 claws.
|
(2) Install the lower radiator grille sub-assembly with the 4 screws. |
|
(b) for TRD:
(1) Engage the 18 claws.
|
(2) Install the lower radiator grille sub-assembly with the 2 screws. |

11. INSTALL LOWER CENTER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)
(a) except TRD:
(1) Engage the guide and 4 claws.
|
(2) Install the lower center radiator grille moulding with the screw. |
|
12. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING LH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)
(a) except TRD:
|
(1) Engage the guide and 8 claws. |
|
|
(2) Install the lower radiator grille moulding LH with the screw. |
|
13. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING RH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)
except TRD:
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
14. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)
(a) except TRD:

(1) Engage the 6 claws. |
|
|
(2) Install the clip. |
|
|
(3) Install the fog light cover LH with the 4 clips. |
|
(b) for TRD:
|
(1) Engage the 6 claws to install the fog light cover LH. |
|
15. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE MOULDING LH (for Bar Type Radiator Grille)
|
(a) Engage the 2 guides and 3 claws. |
|
|
(b) Install the front bumper side moulding LH with the 5 screws. |
|
17. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE MOULDING RH (for Bar Type Radiator Grille)
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
18. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (for Bar Type Radiator Grille)
|
(a) Engage the guide and 10 claws. |
|
|
(b) Install the radiator grille with the 2 screws. |
|
19. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille)
|
(a) Engage the 8 claws. |
|
|
(b) Install the 10 screws. |
|
|
(c) Install the radiator grille with the 2 clips. |
|
20. INSTALL FRONT CENTER BUMPER BAR (for Bar Type Radiator Grille)
|
(a) Install the 4 screws. |
|
(b) Install the front center bumper bar with the 2 clips.
21. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER UPPER RETAINER
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(a) Engage the 2 guides. |
|
(b) Install the front bumper upper retainer with the screw.
22. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Engage the guide and 4 claws. |
|
|
(b) Install the radiator grille emblem assembly with the screw. |
|
23. INSTALL HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL
HINT:
When installing the hood to front end panel seal, heat the front bumper cover using a heat light.

- Do not touch the heat light and heated parts, touching the heat light may result in burns.

NOTICE:
Do not heat the front bumper cover excessively.
(a) Clean the front bumper cover surface.
(1) Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover surface.
(2) Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.
(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(b) Engage the 6 clips. |
|
(c) Remove the release paper from a new hood to front end panel seal.
HINT:
After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.
(d) Engage the guide and attach the double-sided tape as shown in the illustration to install the hood to front end panel seal.

24. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER (for TRD)
HINT:
When installing the front spoiler, heat the front bumper cover using a heat light.

Do not heat the front bumper cover excessively.
(a) Clean the front bumper cover surface.
(1) Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover surface.
(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.
(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
(b) Engage the 30 claws.
(c) Remove the release paper from a new front spoiler.
HINT:
After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.
(d) Attach the double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

When installing the front bumper pad LH, heat the front bumper cover using a heat light.

(a) Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.
