INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
(a) Place the rear seatback assembly in the cabin.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
(b) Engage the 3 hooks as shown in the illustration.

(c) Install the rear seatback assembly with the 4 bolts.
Torque:
18 N·m {184 kgf·cm, 13 ft·lbf}
(d) Connect the 2 connectors.
(e) Connect each rear seat outer belt to the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH, rear seat shoulder belt guide LH and rear seat center shoulder belt guide.
2. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK
(a) Engage the 2 claws to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook as shown in the illustration.

HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
3. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
(a) Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
(b) Install the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration.

(c) When reusing the rear seat inner belt assembly RH and rear center seat outer belt assembly:
|
(1) Pass the rear seat inner belt assembly RH and rear center seat outer belt assembly through the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration. |
|
|
(2) Pass the rear seat inner belt assembly RH and rear center seat outer belt assembly as shown in the illustration. |
|
(3) Connect the rear seat inner belt assembly RH with the bolt and washer.
(4) Install the rear seat inner belt assembly RH and rear center seat outer belt assembly as a set with the bolt.

Torque:
42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}
NOTICE:
- Install the rear seat inner belt assembly RH with the arrow on the anchor part facing the front of the vehicle.
- Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat inner belt assembly RH to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.
(d) Engage the 2 rear seat cushion frame hooks as shown in the illustration to install the rear seat cushion assembly.

NOTICE:
Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is securely installed.
(e) When installing a new rear seat inner belt assembly RH and rear center seat outer belt assembly:

(1) Connect the rear center seat outer belt assembly as shown in the illustration. |

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

5. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
