The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during rear seat outer belt assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE
1. PRECAUTION
CAUTION:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing.

NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
-
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
-
If an airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious injury.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

3. DISCONNECT REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

6. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

7. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

8. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
9. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
10. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH

HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
12. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the bolt to disconnect the floor anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.

13. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
14. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT SET

15. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER
(a) Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover.
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the other rear seat shoulder belt hole covers.

16. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY
(a) Fold the rear seatback assembly LH and rear seatback assembly RH forward.
(c) Disengage the 3 clips and 5 guides.

(d) Pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly then remove the package tray trim panel assembly.
17. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button as shown in the illustration to release the lock and disconnect the pretensioner connector.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(c) Disengage the guide to remove the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.
18. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
19. REMOVE REAR SEAT BELT RETRACTOR COVER
(a) Remove the rear seat belt retractor cover as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
