Before disconnecting related connectors for inspection, push in on each connector body to check that the connector is not loose or disconnected.

When a connector is disconnected, check that the terminals and connector body are not cracked, deformed or corroded.
PROCEDURE
1.

CHECK DTC (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)
|
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC/EPB / Trouble Codes.
Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC/EPB > Trouble Codes
(e) Check that DTC C1241 which indicates a malfunction in the power source circuit of the vehicle stability control system is not stored by the vehicle stability control system.

CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE)

(a) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
(b) Disconnect the A33 brake actuator assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
