The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the ECM, steering angle sensor, yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and airbag sensor assembly via CAN communication.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK)

(a) Clear the DTCs.

Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Clear DTCs

(b) Turn the ignition switch off.

(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

(e) Check for DTCs.

DTCs for related systems are output together with DTC U0073, U0100, U0123, U0126 or U0151.
