  • When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:
    • A communication malfunction DTC is stored.
    • The radio and display receiver assembly may not operate normally.

PROCEDURE

CHECK SMARTPHONE SETTINGS

(a) Check the MirrorLink compatible smartphone settings.

(1) Check that the volume is not set to "0".

(2) Check that mute is off.

(b) Check that the sound of the MirrorLink compatible smartphone can be heard.

HINT:

Restarting the smartphone may return the application operation to normal.

OK:

Sound of the MirrorLink compatible smartphone can be heard.

CHECK SMARTPHONE

(a) Check if sounds can be heard from the MirrorLink compatible smartphone when a MirrorLink compatible application is running and it is disconnected from the head unit.

CHECK APPLICATION RUNNING STATUS

(a) Connect the smartphone to the head unit with a MirrorLink compatible application running and check if the MirrorLink function can be used and sounds can be heard.

HINT:

The MirrorLink function may not start if the application is not running.
