When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:
- A communication malfunction DTC is stored.
- The radio and display receiver assembly may not operate normally.

(a) Check if an image is displayed on the MirrorLink compatible smartphone when a MirrorLink compatible application is running and it is disconnected from the head unit.

(a) Connect the smartphone to the head unit with a MirrorLink compatible application running and check if the MirrorLink function can be used and an image is displayed.
HINT:
The MirrorLink function may not start if the application is not running.
