This DTC indicates an internal malfunction of the driving support ECU assembly.

When the ignition switch is ON and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, the driving support ECU assembly detects an internal malfunction for approximately 0.2 seconds or more.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a driving support ECU assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the driving support ECU assembly will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK DTC (RADAR CRUISE 2)

(a) Clear the DTCs.

(b) Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

HINT:

If the following conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  2. Turn the dynamic radar cruise control system on using the cruise control main switch (ON-OFF button).
  3. Wait for 1 second or more.

(c) Check for DTCs.
