PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY
Click here
4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
|
(a) Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose. |
|
5. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
|
(a) Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose. |
|
6. DISCONNECT NO. 2 INLET OIL COOLER HOSE
|
(a) Disengage the clamp to disconnect the No. 2 inlet oil cooler hose from the fan shroud assembly. |
|
(b) Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 inlet oil cooler hose.
7. DISCONNECT NO. 1 OUTLET OIL COOLER HOSE
|
(a) Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 outlet oil cooler hose. |
|
8. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

9. REMOVE HOOD LOCK NUT CAP

10. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

11. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Disconnect the clamp of the hood lock control cable. |
|
(b) Disconnect the 2 horn connectors.
(c) Remove the 5 bolts and upper radiator support.
12. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts. |
|
|
(b) Disconnect the cooling fan ECU connector. |
|
(c) Disengage the 3 wire harness clamps.
|
(d) Remove the radiator assembly with the fan shroud assembly from the vehicle body. NOTICE: Do not apply excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or pipe when removing the radiator assembly with the fan shroud assembly. |
|
|
(e) Disconnect the radiator reserve tank hose from the radiator assembly. |
|
(f) Disengage the 2 claws.
(g) Disengage the 3 guides to remove the fan shroud assembly from the radiator assembly.
NOTICE:
Do not damage the radiator assembly when removing the fan shroud assembly.
(h) Remove the radiator drain cock plug from the radiator assembly.
13. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION

(a) Remove the 2 radiator support cushions from the radiator assembly. |
|
14. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT
|
(a) Remove the 2 lower radiator supports from the radiator assembly. |
|
|
|
