DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is connected to the combination meter assembly via CAN communication.

PROCEDURE

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
|
(a) Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output (See page
).

2.
|
PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (ABS WARNING LIGHT)
|
(a) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(b) Turn the Techstream on.
(c) Select the Active Test on the Techstream.
(d) According to the display on the Techstream, perform the Active Test.

INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Perform Active Test of the combination meter assembly using the Techstream (See page
).
(c) Check the combination meter assembly.
OK:
The ABS warning light turns on or off in accordance with the Techstream.
HINT:
If troubleshooting has been carried out according to Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing parts (See page
).
