REMOVAL
PROCEDURE
1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See page
).
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

5. SEPARATE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
6. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

7. REMOVE PARKING ASSIST ECU (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System)

9. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH
(a) Disconnect each connector.

(b) Disengage the 2 clamps.
HINT:
If the vehicle is equipped with a wire harness clamp, disengage the clamp.
(c) Remove the 2 nuts and bolt and ECU integration box RH with each ECU.
10. REMOVE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)
(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws to remove the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).
