DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

(a) Remove the 2 <B> screws.

(b) Disengage the 2 guides to remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

2. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

(a) Remove the 2 <B> screws.

(b) Disengage the 2 guides to remove the No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.

3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL EXTENSION

(a) Remove the <B> screw.

(b) Disengage the guide to remove the No. 2 instrument panel extension.

4. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 5 <B> screws.

(b) Disengage the 3 guides and claw to remove the defroster nozzle assembly.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

(a) Remove the 3 <B> screws.

(b) Disengage the 4 guides to remove the No. 1 heater to register duct.

6. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

(a) Remove the 4 <B> screws.

(b) Disengage the 4 guides to remove the No. 2 heater to register duct.

7. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

8. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)

9. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL REINFORCEMENT

(a) Remove the <B> screw.

(b) Disengage the guide to remove the instrument cluster finish panel reinforcement.

11. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

(a) Remove the No. 1 instrument panel cushion.

12. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

(a) Remove the No. 2 instrument panel cushion.

13. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

(a) Remove the No. 3 instrument panel cushion.

14. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER CUSHION

(a) Remove the instrument panel lower cushion.

NOTICE:

Always replace the instrument panel lower cushion with a new one.
