DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE REAR BLOWER WITH FAN MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 3 screws and rear blower with fan motor.

2. REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL

(a) Remove the 2 screws and blower motor control.

3. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 3 screws and bracket.

(b) Remove the screw.

(c) Disengage the claw and remove the heater clamp.

(d) Remove the heater radiator unit from the rear cooling unit.

4. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 COOLING UNIT DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and rear No. 2 cooling unit damper servo.

5. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 COOLING UNIT DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and rear No. 1 cooling unit damper servo.

6. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the air conditioning harness.

7. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONER TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 12 screws and cooling unit case.

(b) Remove the packing.

NOTICE:

Remove any tape remaining on the rear cooling unit.

(c) Using a 5 mm hexagon wrench, remove the hexagon bolt.

(d) Turn the hook connector clockwise and disconnect the air conditioner tube and accessory.

(e) Remove the 2 O-rings from the air conditioner tube and accessory.

8. REMOVE REAR COOLING UNIT EXPANSION VALVE

(a) Remove the packing.

NOTICE:

Remove any tape remaining on the rear cooling unit.

(b) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the plate.

(c) Remove the grommet.

(d) Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and detach the rear cooling unit expansion valve.

(e) Remove the 2 O-rings from the rear cooling unit expansion valve.

9. REMOVE REAR EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the rear evaporator.

10. REMOVE REAR EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and rear evaporator temperature sensor.
