Pre-Collision Brake Cancel Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU receives pre-collision brake on/off signal from pre-collision system cancel switch.

1.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (PRE-COLLISION BRAKE CANCEL SWITCH)

(a) Use the Data List to check if the pre-collision brake cancel switch is functioning properly.

INSPECT PRE-COLLISION BRAKE CANCEL SWITCH

(a) Remove the pre-collision brake cancel switch (See page 2016 - 2017 MY Sienna [12/2015 - 11/2017]; PRE-COLLISION: PRE-COLLISION BRAKE CANCEL SWITCH: REMOVAL ).

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PRE-COLLISION BRAKE CANCEL SWITCH - DRIVING SUPPORT ECU)

(a) Disconnect the D4 pre-collision brake cancel switch connector.

(b) Disconnect the A44 driving support ECU connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(d) Reconnect the driving support ECU connector.
