DESCRIPTION
Based on pre-collision control, the driving support ECU communicates to the driver to be careful. The driving support ECU performs this by sending a sounding signal to the skid control ECU to sound the skid control buzzer.
When the skid control ECU detects a malfunction in the VSC warning buzzer circuit, a malfunction signal is sent to the driving support ECU, and a DTC is stored. Although the skid control ECU sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU, the vehicle stability control system does not stored a relevant malfunction detection DTC.

NOTICE:
If beam axis adjustment using the Techstream is completed by pressing "Finish", it will be necessary to perform adjustment of the radar sensor assembly.
HINT:
This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, be sure to check that the CAN communication system is normal before performing inspection (See page

PROCEDURE

CHECK BUZZER |
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the Techstream main switch on, and turn the cruise control main switch on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Radar Cruise / Utility / Beam Axis Adjustment.
NOTICE:
Completing beam axis adjustment by pressing "Finish" will ause the learning values to be reset, so be sure to cancel beam axis adjustment by pressing "Exit" immediately after the buzzer sounds.
(e) Follow the instructions on the Techstream display, and proceed to the next screen.
OK:
A buzzer will sound for 1 second.
(f) Press "Exit" to cancel beam axis adjustment.
