CAUTION:

PROCEDURE

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See page 2016 MY Sienna [12/2015 - 08/2016]; INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: INITIALIZATION 2017 MY Sienna [08/2016 - 11/2017]; INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: INITIALIZATION 2018 - 2020 MY Sienna [11/2017 -        ]; INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: INITIALIZATION ).

2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH

6. REMOVE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws to separate the DLC3.

(c) Remove the knee airbag assembly.

(d) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, release the locking button.
