DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when the blind spot monitor sensor LH detects a ground short in the outer rear view mirror indicator LH.

Both of the following conditions are met:

Blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly) is on.

The current that is sent from the blind spot monitor sensor to the indicator is above a specified level for a specified period of time.

NOTICE:
When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly) is on.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH)
|
(a) Disconnect the q3 blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.
(b) Disconnect the H5*1 or H13*2 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.

*1: w/ Seat Position Memory System

*2: w/o Seat Position Memory System
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

|
(a) Disconnect the H5*1 or H13*2 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.

(b) Disconnect the IND2 outer rear view mirror LH (outer rear view mirror indicator LH) connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
