NOTICE:

When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly) is on.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK OTHER DTC OUTPUT (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)

(a) Check for DTCs of the vehicle stability control system (See page 2016 - 2017 MY Sienna [12/2015 - 11/2017]; BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

OK:

Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output.

NG

GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM

OK

2.

CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs (See page 2016 - 2017 MY Sienna [12/2015 - 11/2017]; PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: BLIND SPOT MONITOR SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

(b) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
