DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the parking assist ECU judges as a result of its self check that the voltage received by terminal IG is low or high.

NOTICE:

  • When "System is initializing" is displayed on the navigation receiver assembly after the battery terminal has been disconnected, correct the steering angle neutral point (See page 2016 - 2017 MY Sienna [12/2015 - 11/2017]; PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: PARKING ASSIST MONITOR SYSTEM: INITIALIZATION ).
  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed (See page 2016 - 2017 MY Sienna [12/2015 - 11/2017]; PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: PARKING ASSIST MONITOR SYSTEM: CALIBRATION ).
  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

CHECK DTC OUTPUT

(a) Clear the DTCs (See page 2016 - 2017 MY Sienna [12/2015 - 11/2017]; PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: PARKING ASSIST MONITOR SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

(b) Check for DTCs (See page 2016 - 2017 MY Sienna [12/2015 - 11/2017]; PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: PARKING ASSIST MONITOR SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
