INSPECT REAR QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY (WINDOW GLASS ANTENNA WIRE)

(a) Inspect the rear quarter window assembly (window glass antenna wire) (See page 2016 - 2020 MY Sienna [12/2015 -        ]; AUDIO / VIDEO: WINDOW GLASS ANTENNA WIRE: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION ).

4.

INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Preparation for check

(1) Remove the antenna connector from the navigation receiver assembly.

(b) Check for noise

(1) Turn the ignition switch to ACC with the navigation receiver assembly connector connected.

(2) Turn the radio on and tune into AM mode.

(3) Place a screwdriver, thin wire or other metal object on the navigation receiver assembly antenna jack and check that noise can be heard from the speakers.

OK:

Noise can be heard from the speakers.

REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

5.

INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

INSPECT ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the navigation receiver assembly.

(b) Disconnect the antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

INSPECT NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly (roof headlining assembly) connector from the antenna cord sub-assembly.

(b) Disconnect the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly (roof headlining assembly) connector from the No. 1 amplifier antenna assembly.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Replace the No. 1 amplifier antenna assembly and check if radio broadcasts can be received normally (See page 2016 - 2020 MY Sienna [12/2015 -        ]; AUDIO / VIDEO: AMPLIFIER ANTENNA: REMOVAL ).

OK:

Radio broadcasts can be received normally.
