Title: TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM: Tire Pressure Warning Light Circuit; 2016 - 2020 MY Sienna [12/2015 -        ]

Tire Pressure Warning Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

If the tire pressure warning ECU detects a disconnected connector or an open circuit between the tire pressure warning ECU and combination meter, the tire pressure warning light turns off 10 seconds after the ignition switch is turned ON, blinks for 1 minute, and then remains on. Connecting terminals TC and CG of the DLC3 makes the tire pressure warning light blink and output the DTC.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

  • When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
  • It is necessary to perform initialization (See page 2016 - 2020 MY Sienna [12/2015 -        ]; TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM: INITIALIZATION ) after registration (See page 2016 - 2020 MY Sienna [12/2015 -        ]; TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM: REGISTRATION ) of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU after the ECU and/or tire pressure warning valve and transmitter has been replaced.
