INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL TRANSFER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the 4 new transfer and transaxle setting stud bolts onto the automatic transaxle positions shown in the illustration.
Torque:
39 N·m {400 kgf·cm, 29 ft·lbf}
NOTICE:
Install the sealed side of the stud bolt onto the automatic transaxle.

(b) Install the transfer onto the automatic transaxle with the 8 nuts.
Torque:
69 N·m {700 kgf·cm, 51 ft·lbf}
NOTICE:
- Install the transfer to the automatic transaxle horizontally.
- Do not touch the transfer oil seals during installation.
2. INSTALL TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

3. INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL TRANSFER STIFFENER PLATE RH

(a) Install the transfer stiffener plate RH with the 4 bolts. Torque: Bolt A : 34 N·m {347 kgf·cm, 25 ft·lbf} Bolt B : 78 N·m {795 kgf·cm, 58 ft·lbf} |

5. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE
6. CONNECT BREATHER PLUG HOSE
7. INSTALL MANIFOLD STAY
8. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY
9. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE
