Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure

  1. Adjust the window 3-4 inches open from the top.
  2. Front Side Door Hinge Pin(1)»Remove
  3. Front Side Door Inner Panel Energy Absorber Bolt(2)»Remove[14x]

  4. Front Side Door Inner Front Panel(1)»Remove

  5. Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer Bolt(1)»Remove[2x]
  6. Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer(2)»Remove

  7. Front Side Door Window Bolt(1)»Release[2x]
  8. Lift the front side door window from the sash clips and tape the front side door window in the full up position.

  9. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

  2. If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps:
    1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth.
    2. Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive.
    3. Remove loose debris from internal and external threads using compressed air.
    4. Apply liquid thread locking adhesive in a strip along half of the length of the external threads, starting at the tip, just prior to installation.Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

  3. Front Side Door Window Regulator Bolt(1)»Install and tighten[5x]—Fastener Specifications

  4. Connect the electrical connector.

  5. Remove the tape holding the front side door window in the full up position and lower the window into the front side door window sash clips.

  8. If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps:
