Park Servo Piston Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the control valve body cover (1) from the transmission. Control Valve Body Cover Replacement

  3. Remove the control valve body (1) from the transmission. Control Valve Body Assembly Removal

  4. Remove the control valve solenoid body bolt (1) from the control valve body assembly.
  5. Remove the park servo piston switch (2) from the control valve body assembly.

    6. Note: The mode valve position switch magnet is not replaceable. If the magnet must be replaced, the control valve body assembly will need to be replaced.

  6. Remove the mode valve position switch magnet (3) from the control valve body assembly.
  7. Clean and inspect the mode valve position switch magnet (3). Control Valve Body Cleaning and Inspection

Installation Procedure

    Note: The mode valve position switch magnet is not replaceable. If the magnet must be replaced, the control valve body assembly will need to be replaced.

  1. Install the mode valve position switch magnet (3) to the control valve body assembly.
  2. Install the park servo piston switch (2) to the control valve body assembly.
  3. Install and tighten the control valve solenoid body bolt (1) to the control valve body assembly.Control Valve Body Assembly Assemble
