Exhaust Particulate Sensor Replacement
Removal Procedure- Disconnect the battery negative cable.Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Raise and support the vehicle.Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly.Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

Caution: Do not bend the exhaust flex pipe more than
10 degrees in any direction. Bending of more than
10 degrees or twisting in a range of
±0.5 degrees will damage the exhaust flex
decoupler.
- Electrical Connector(1)@Exhaust Particulate Sensor Control Module(2)»Disconnect
Note: Secure the exhaust particulate sensor control module from falling down in order to prevent a defect on the control module.
- Exhaust Particulate Sensor Control Module Bracket Nut(3)»Remove[2x]

- Wiring Harness Retainer(1)@Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle»Remove[3x]

Note: Do NOT bend the cable sharply at the base of either the sensing unit or sensor ECU in the final mounting position.
- Exhaust Particulate Sensor(1)»Remove
Installation Procedure

Caution: Do not bend the exhaust flex pipe more than
10 degrees in any direction. Bending of more than
10 degrees or twisting in a range of
±0.5 degrees will damage the exhaust flex
decoupler.
Note: Do NOT bend the cable sharply at the base of either the sensing unit or sensor ECU in the final mounting position.
- Exhaust Particulate Sensor(1)»Install and tighten45N·m(33 lb ft)

- Wiring Harness Retainer(1)@Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle»Install[3x]

- Exhaust Particulate Sensor Control Module(2)»Install
- Exhaust Particulate Sensor Control Module Bracket Nut(3)»Install and tighten[2x]9N·m(80 lb in)
- Electrical Connector(1)@Exhaust Particulate Sensor Control Module(2)»Connect
- Install the right front tire and wheel assembly.Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Connect the battery negative cable.Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Perform the DPF Reset. DPF Reset
