Exhaust Muffler Replacement (LTG, LYX)
Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  2. Exhaust Front Pipe Nut(1)»Remove[2x]
  3. Exhaust Muffler@Exhaust Front Pipe»Separate

    4. Object ID: 4587128
  4. With the aid of an assistant, separate the exhaust muffler (1) from the two exhaust rear muffler insulators and remove the exhaust muffler (1) from the vehicle.
  5. Exhaust Gasket(2)»Remove and DISCARD
Installation Procedure

  1. Exhaust Gasket(2)»Install NEW
  2. With the aid of an assistant, insert the exhaust muffler (1) into the two exhaust rear muffler insulators and connect the exhaust muffler (1) to the exhaust front pipe.

    3. Object ID: 4587121

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution.

  3. Exhaust Front Pipe Nut(1)»Install and tighten[2x]22 N·m (16 lb ft)
  4. Lower the vehicle.Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  5. Start the engine and check for exhaust leaks.
