Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement (Equinox)

Removal Procedure

  1. Instrument Panel Compartment Door(1)»Open
  2. Disconnect the instrument panel compartment door dampener (2) from the instrument panel compartment door (1).

  3. Release the retainers and squeeze the sides of the instrument panel compartment (1) to allow the door to open past the stops.

  4. Unsnap the instrument panel compartment door (1) from the instrument panel assembly.

Installation Procedure

  1. Instrument Panel Compartment Door(1)»Install

    2. Object ID: 4583881
  2. Squeeze the sides of the instrument panel compartment (1) to allow the door to go past the stops and engage the retainers.

    3. Object ID: 4583884
  3. Connect the instrument panel compartment door dampener (2) to the instrument panel compartment door (1).
  4. Instrument Panel Compartment Door(1)»Close
