Accessory DC Power Control Module Replacement

Removal ProcedureDanger: Always perform the High Voltage Disabling procedure prior to
servicing any High Voltage component or connection. Personal
Protection Equipment (PPE) and proper procedures must be
followed.
The High Voltage Disabling procedure will perform the
following tasks:
- Identify how to disable high voltage.
- Identify how to test for the presence of high voltage.
- Identify condition under which high voltage is always present
and personal protection equipment (PPE) and proper procedures must
be followed.
Failure to follow the procedures exactly as written may
result in serious injury or death.

- Rear Compartment Floor Stowage Trim Compartment Replacement»Remove
- Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection»Disconnect
- Drain the cooling system.Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Cooling System Draining and Filling
Caution: Ensure the cooling system is drained, and hoses are removed prior to disconnecting any electrical connections. Failure to do this may result in damage to the electrical connectors or components. Any damaged electrical connectors or components must be replaced.

- Clamp(3, 5)»Loosen[2x]—BO-38185 pliers
- Coolant Hose»Remove[2x]
- Electrical Connector(2, 4)»Disconnect
- Remove the battery positive and negative cable nut (APM ground cable) (6).
- Remove the battery positive and negative cable nut (B+ APM Module to Battery Fuse Block) (7).
- Remove 2 the accessory dc power control module nuts (1).
- Remove the accessory dc power control module bolt (8).
- Remove the accessory dc power control module (9).
Installation ProcedureCaution: Ensure that all electrical connections are made before the hoses are connected, and the cooling system is filled. Failure to do this may result in damage to the electrical connectors or components. Any damaged electrical connectors or components must be replaced.

- Install the accessory dc power control module (9).
- Install the accessory dc power control module bolt (8) and tighten to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
- Install 2 the accessory dc power control module nuts (1) and tighten to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
- Install the battery positive and negative cable nuts (B+ APM Module to Battery Fuse Block) (7) and tighten to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
- Install the battery positive and negative cable nut (APM ground cable) (6) and tighten to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
- Electrical Connector(2, 4)»Connect
- Coolant Hose»Install[2x]
- Clamp(3, 5)»Install[2x]—BO-38185 pliers
- Fill the cooling system.Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Cooling System Draining and Filling
- Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection»Connect
