    Preliminary Procedures:
  1. Perform the SPS prepare heater and air conditioning remote control module for removal procedure. Refer to HVAC System Control Module Programming and Setup.
  2. Remove the radio assembly. Refer to Radio Control Assembly Replacement.

Note: If the vehicle battery has NOT been disconnected, when reinstalling, replacing or reconnecting the HVAC remote control module, the BROWN J2 connector must be connected last. Once all the parts are all in place, check and clear all DTCs in the HVAC module.

Heater and Air Conditioning Remote Control

    Procedure:
  1. Disconnect the heater and air conditioning remote control electrical connectors.
  2. Release the retainers and remove the air conditioning remote control.
  3. Program the heater and air conditioning remote control module. Refer to HVAC System Control Module Programming and Setup.
  4. Perform the actuator re-calibration procedure. Refer to Actuator Recalibration.
  5. Clear all DTC stored in the heater and air conditioning remote control module.
